Local Event Pages Service
Local Event Pages provides done-for-you event landing pages and related website services for event organizers and promoters.
Local Event Pages is a service of Easy Computer Systems, LLC.
Services may include design, setup, hosting, publication, reasonable content updates, customized event web addresses and other event-related website services agreed upon with the customer.
The exact services provided for each project are based on the estimate, project discussion and agreed scope of work.
Estimates and Payment
Submitting an estimate request does not create a contract or obligation to purchase services.
After reviewing an estimate request, Easy Computer Systems, LLC may communicate directly with the customer to clarify project needs, requested features, timing and other details before providing or confirming an estimate.
Prices advertised on localeventpages.com, including services described as "starting at" a particular price, represent starting prices and do not guarantee that every project will qualify for that price.
Each event may have different requirements. The final price and services included will be based on the needs of the individual project and the estimate accepted by the customer. Requests for additional work or changes outside the agreed project scope may require a revised or additional estimate.
Payment is required before work begins unless different written payment arrangements are specifically agreed upon by Easy Computer Systems, LLC.
Refund Policy
Once Easy Computer Systems, LLC begins work on an accepted Local Event Pages project, payments for that project are non-refundable.
Work may be considered to have begun when design, configuration, page preparation, content preparation or other project work starts after payment and project acceptance.
Customer Review and Approval
Before an event page is published publicly, the customer will normally be given an opportunity to review the completed page.
The customer may request reasonable corrections to event information, spelling, dates, links, images or other content provided as part of the agreed project.
Requests that materially expand the original project scope may require an additional estimate or payment before the additional work is performed.
Customer-Provided Content
Customers are responsible for all information, images and materials they provide for use on their event page.
By providing content to Local Event Pages, the customer confirms that they own the content or have permission to use and authorize publication of that content.
Customer-provided content may include:
- Photos
- Flyers
- Logos
- Graphics
- Written descriptions
- Trademarks or business names
- Social media content or links
- Other promotional materials
Customers are responsible for obtaining any licenses, releases or permissions necessary for materials they provide.
Easy Computer Systems, LLC may remove or decline to publish content when a valid copyright, trademark or other legal complaint is received, or when there is a reasonable concern that content may infringe the rights of another party.
Accuracy of Event Information
Customers are responsible for providing clear, current and accurate event information.
This includes event dates, times, locations, admission information, contact information, schedules, registration details and other information supplied for publication.
Customers are also responsible for informing Easy Computer Systems, LLC when information on an active event page needs to be corrected or updated.
Local Event Pages is not responsible for losses, missed attendance, confusion or other consequences caused by inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.
Content Updates and Project Scope
Reasonable basic content updates may be provided during the active service period when included with the customer's service.
Basic updates may include reasonable changes to dates, times, descriptions, contact information, links, images or similar existing page content.
Requests that substantially change the original page design, add major new sections, add custom functionality or otherwise materially expand the original project may be treated as additional work and may require a separate estimate.
Event Web Addresses and Subdomains
Local Event Pages may provide an event page using a customized subdomain such as:
yourevent.localeventpages.com
Customized event web addresses are provided as part of the Local Event Pages service and remain under the ownership and control of Easy Computer Systems, LLC.
Customers do not purchase, register or acquire ownership rights to a Local Event Pages subdomain.
Event web addresses are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are unavailable while assigned to another active Local Event Pages event page.
Easy Computer Systems, LLC reserves the right to reject, modify or decline a requested event web address that is misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, infringing, confusing, system-reserved or otherwise unsuitable.
Checking availability or requesting an estimate does not reserve an event web address.
Service Period
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a Local Event Pages service period begins on the date the service is purchased.
Event pages may remain active for the service period selected by the customer, up to a maximum of one year from the purchase date.
The service period is based on the purchase date, not the scheduled event date.
Customers may request removal of an event page after the scheduled event date if they no longer want the page to remain publicly available.
Removal of a page before the end of the purchased service period does not create a refund or credit for unused service time.
Renewal, Expiration and Event Web Addresses
Local Event Pages services do not automatically renew unless a separate written agreement specifically states otherwise.
Easy Computer Systems, LLC may send one or more courtesy reminders before a service period expires. Failure to receive a reminder does not extend the service period or reserve the event web address.
There is no guaranteed grace period after expiration.
When the service period expires without renewal, the event page may be removed or reset and the associated subdomain may immediately become available for use by another customer.
A customer who renews before expiration may continue using the existing event web address, subject to the renewal terms agreed upon.
If a former customer requests the same event web address after expiration, it may be reassigned to that customer only if it is still available at that time.
Event Changes and Cancellations
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, relocated or canceled, the customer should notify Easy Computer Systems, LLC as soon as reasonably possible.
Reasonable updates may be made to reflect changed event information when those updates are within the original project scope.
Cancellation of an event does not create a refund after work on the event page has begun.
When appropriate, the customer may request that the page be updated to indicate that the event has been canceled.
Acceptable Content and Right to Decline Service
Easy Computer Systems, LLC reserves the right to decline a project or refuse to publish or continue hosting content that is reasonably believed to be:
- Unlawful
- Fraudulent or intentionally misleading
- Abusive or threatening
- Defamatory
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Harmful to website security or operation
- Offensive or otherwise inappropriate for the Local Event Pages service
Easy Computer Systems, LLC may also decline projects that are outside the intended scope of Local Event Pages or that cannot reasonably be supported through the service.
Third-Party Websites and Services
Event pages may link to third-party services such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, ticketing providers, registration systems, vendor applications or other external websites.
Local Event Pages provides these links for convenience and does not operate or control those third-party services.
Easy Computer Systems, LLC is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, policies, transactions, outages or actions of third-party websites or services.
Use of a third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms, policies and practices.
Intellectual Property
Customers retain ownership of original content they provide, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
The customer grants Easy Computer Systems, LLC permission to use, reproduce, resize, format, display and publish customer-provided materials as reasonably necessary to create and operate the customer's event page.
Local Event Pages website designs, layouts, reusable code, templates, systems, branding, graphics created by Easy Computer Systems, LLC, and other underlying website materials remain the property of Easy Computer Systems, LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Purchasing a Local Event Pages service does not transfer ownership of the Local Event Pages platform, underlying source code, reusable templates, hosting environment or Local Event Pages domain and subdomains.
Service Availability
Easy Computer Systems, LLC will use reasonable efforts to keep Local Event Pages and active customer event pages available and functioning.
However, continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Website access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, hosting provider issues, internet outages, security incidents, software problems, third-party failures or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Easy Computer Systems, LLC.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Local Event Pages provides website and event page services. Easy Computer Systems, LLC does not organize, operate, manage or guarantee the success of customer events.
No guarantee is made regarding event attendance, ticket sales, vendor participation, revenue, search-engine ranking, social media reach or other promotional results.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Easy Computer Systems, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar damages arising from use of Local Event Pages, customer event pages, third-party services or information supplied by the customer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any direct liability arising from a specific Local Event Pages project shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer to Easy Computer Systems, LLC for that specific project.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Easy Computer Systems, LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from customer-provided content, the customer's event, the customer's violation of these Terms, or the customer's violation of the rights of another person or organization.
Changes to These Terms
Easy Computer Systems, LLC may update these Terms of Service as Local Event Pages changes or as legal, technical or business practices evolve.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter the agreed price or scope of a project that has already been accepted unless both parties agree to the change.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from Local Event Pages services shall be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Ohio unless the parties agree to another lawful method of resolving the dispute.
